As part of the international expansion program, Bin Butti Group signed 15 years partnership contract with the Chad Government to maintain and operate Farcha Slaughterhouse at Chad from year 2019. The Farcha slaughterhouse is the only government-regulated slaughterhouse at chad and this is key for the grow strategy of the Group.
The contract was signed in the presence of His Excellency Idriss Deby, the President of Chad by Mr. Sultan Zakaria Aouda the representative of Bin Butti Group and His Excellency Youssouf Abassalah Minister of Commerce and Industry and His Excellency Gayang Souare Minister of Livestock and Animal Production. His Excellency Mohammed Ali Musabah Al Shamsi, the UAE Ambassador to Chad and Mr. Benzer Bright Business Development Manager – International of Bin Butti Group, witnessed the signing ceremony.
Bin Butti Group aims to modernize the slaughterhouse by bringing in state of art technology for slaughtering animals for local and international consumption. The modernization program will raise the level of the slaughterhouse to international standards thereby paving way for future export market.
Bin Butti Group works closely with the Government of Chad to double the current capacity of the slaughterhouse. Chad exports meat to the neighboring countries and to international market. The industry is still in its growth path considering the huge requirement of local meat.
The group aims in future to increase the capacity and get all the quality approvals from the Government of Abu Dhabi paving way for future export of meat products to UAE. This will support the Government in its future food security program and we are proud to be part of the initiatives from the Government
